Those pesky squirrels! Sorry you're having trouble and Critter Ridder didn't solve all of your issues. Yes, we have tested it in high pressure conditions and it remained effective. The critter ridder granular works by taste and touch so if they are that hungry, those clever animals may be working really hard to eat the seeds and not the repellent and as they walk on it...they may be bearing the agitation on their feet to get to the food...

A few additional recommendations....(and some trouble shooting)
Did it rain heavily where you are recently after applying the critter ridder? Sometimes heavy rain makes it lose its effectiveness.

Other things you can try...

Using the Critter Ridder Spray along with the granular often provides more control.

Deer Off is our premium repellent for Deer, Rabbit and Squirrels and it also contains putrescent egg which mimics the scent of a predator in the area so the squirrels will be afraid to come close because of perceived danger.

You could also trap the squirrels to relocate them if the repellents are not working...check our critter library on Havavahart.com - link (http://www.havahart.com/advice/critter-library/squirrel-control) for more advice on how to take care of those squirrels and keep your bird feeder safe.

I've used your Critter Ridder - 2 lb. purchased from Home Depot at a cost of $14.98, and have had no success at all. The squirrels are as bold as ever! They actually sit on it and feed on any bird seeds around it. Has this been tested in a area with high squirrel population?
