My Cats & Critter Ridder

My animal problem was caused by my own cats rather than the neighbor's pets or strays. The walkway to my front door has a long, narrow planting bed that lies between the walk and the garage wall of my L-shaped home. The southern exposure of this 3×12 foot planting bed makes it perfect for a colorful display of annuals through the season. Unfortunately, now that its warm outside and my cats are exploring the outdoors, it has become their favored outdoor litter box!

For cats, all it takes is for one to choose the soft soil of carefully tended flowers as the perfect litter spot. The others will quickly adopt the same area. It didn't take long for the entire bed to start smelling like a cat box instead of flowers.

So I cleaned out the flower bed quickly and replaced some of the soil and mulch… and bought some Critter Ridder while I was at the store. I'm happy to report that, the cats now stay away from the flower bed and my walkway again smells like the flowers and herbs I planted.
